is October 22, 2008. Rate and room availability cannot be guaranteed
after this date. Please note that hotel check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and checkout
is at 11:00 a.m.
Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend the meeting, you must call the hotel
and cancel your room reservation at least 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival
date or your credit card will be charged a one night stay. Please contact Kurd

Getting to the Hotel
Driving from Baltimore/Washington International Airport:
Take Route 195 West to Exit 4/ I-95 South, and then head West on 495 towards Silver Spring.
Take Exit 34/ Route 355 North (Wisconsin Avenue / Rockville Pike). Precede approximately
3 to 4 miles on Rockville Pike, and the hotel will be on your right after the Rollins Avenue/ Twinbrook Parkway intersection.
Driving from Ronald Reagan National Airport:
Take 110 North/ George Washington Parkway to I-495 North. When you are on I-495 North,
bear to the left to get to I-270 North toward Frederick and get off at Exit 4A (Montrose Road East).
Proceed approximately 2 to 3 miles, and make a left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). Proceed on
Rockville Pike through four stoplights, and the hotel will be on your right.
Driving from Washington Dulles International Airport:
Take 267 (Washington Dulles Access and Toll Road) East to I-495 North heading towards Rockville
and take I-270 North toward Frederick. Get off at Exit 4A, Montrose Road East. Proceed approximately
2 to 3 miles, and make a left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). Proceed on Rockville Pike through four
stoplights, and the hotel will be on your right.
Driving from Points North:
Take I-95 South to I-495 West towards Silver Spring, and then take Exit 34 Route
355 North (Wisconsin Avenue/ Rockville Pike). Precede approximately 3 to 4 miles on
Rockville Pike, and the hotel will be on your right after the Rollins Avenue/ Twinbrook Parkway intersection.
From Points South:
Take I-95 North to I-495 North/East heading to Rockville/ Tyson's Corner,
then take I-270 North toward Frederick and get off on Exit 4A, Montrose Road East.
Proceed approximately 2 to 3 miles, and make a left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). Proceed on Rockville Pike through four stoplights, and the hotel will be on your right after the Rollins Avenue/ Twinbrook Parkway intersection.

Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses; however, ESI Travel is available to
assist you in making your travel arrangements for this meeting if you wish. Please be aware that ESI
Travel charges a $45 service fee for all ticket reservations. If you wish to use this service,

If you are planning to travel by air, remember that heightened security measures have
been implemented at all airports. Be prepared to furnish e-ticket itineraries and receipts,
along with Government-issued photo identification, upon check-in. Travelers are advised to arrive at
the airport at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled departure to ensure ample time to clear security.
Upon arrival at the airport, we suggest that you ask airline personnel whether you are permitted to check in at the gate.

GETTING TO THE NIH CAMPUS
Important Notice: All visitor vehicles, including taxicabs, hotel,
and airport shuttles, will be inspected before being allowed on campus.
Visitors will be asked to show one form of identification (a Government-issued photo ID, such as a
driver's license, passport, green card, etc.) and to state the purpose of their visit. Be sure to allow extra
time for this vehicle inspection procedure. Visit the NIH Campus Security Web site for up-to-date security information.
Hotel Shuttle
A shuttle will be provided on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 that will take you
to and from the hotel and the NIH Campus. Reminder: You must present
a photo I.D. to get onto the NIH campus. The shuttle schedule is as

Metro
The NIH Campus is easily accessible by the Metro. Be sure to allow yourself
enough time to pass thru the NIH Campus Security. The Lister Hill Auditorium
is a 10 minute walk from the Medical Center station on Metro's
Red line.
Driving Directions
Please note that all visitor vehicles will be inspected before being allowed on the NIH Campus. All visitors will be asked to show a
Government-issued photo ID and state the purpose of their visit. Be sure to allow extra time for these security measures.
Keep in mind that on-campus visitor parking is limited. An alternative to parking on the NIH Campus is to drive and park at other Metro
stops on the Red line that have public parking and take the Metro to the Medical Center station. Convenient Metro stops include Rockville,
White Flint, and Grosvenor.

From Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI):
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway south toward Washington, DC. At I-495 (Capital Beltway), head west toward Silver Spring/ Bethesda.
